A: Oliroha is the pairing between the vocal synth characters Oliver (Vocatone) and Nekomura Iroha (AH-Software)
Q: Is Oliroha canon?
A: Officially, NO. But technically, YES? Oliver’s company (Vocatone) have officially stated that all interpretations and head-canons of their characters are ‘canon.’ You could make the argument that if this particular interpretation Oliver is with Iroha, then in that way it is canon! Please do not use this as an excuse to go bother any creators about this and especially not the companies involved. That is 1. Rude and 2. SUPER ULTRA EMBARRASSING!!!
Q: Why does Oliroha exist?
A: This is definitely a more personal question. Basically I (Panda) have held both Oliver and Iroha very near and dear to me since I was young, about 9-10, and just getting into vocal synth. The idea to ship them actually came about in 2021 when my brother and I were bouncing around ideas for our main AU (the Highschool AU) and I was having trouble deciding who I wanted to ship Iroha with. My brother off-handedly suggested Oliver, but in that moment it really clicked in my head like ‘WOW THIS IS ACTUALLY THE PERFECT SOLUTION’ and it’s been history ever since!
Q: How many people run this website?
A: Just one! I’ll assume you’re wondering this because of the Contributor tags, but these tags are only meant to give credit to any friends who helped contribute to the content of a particular post. However, I (Panda) am the only one who curates/runs this website!
